Allied Universal® is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Madera, CA to monitor the site, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service in a manufacturing and industrial setting.

You will conduct access control, patrols, and respond to alarms, with a schedule of Wednesdays and Thursdays. The pay rate is $18.92 per hour. Applicants must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent, and will undergo a background check and drug screening where permitted by law.

• Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM
• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and complete required reports in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
