Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers at an industrial manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related concerns for Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
