• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of hospital areas, entrances, parking and perimeter to identify hazards and policy concerns.
• Monitor entry points and verify authorized access; provide directions or escorts as needed.
• Document incidents and patrol activities clearly and report to site leadership and management.

Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and providing directions or escorts for patients, visitors, and staff when requested.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
