Job summary

Allied Universal, Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Service to protect patients, visitors, staff, and vendors in a healthcare setting. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide a welcoming environment while delivering exceptional service and timely reporting.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $25.50 per hour. You will work scheduled shifts including evenings and weekends as listed, perform incidents response, and follow

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing guests and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities; communicate security concerns to site leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing guests and supporting a welcoming environment for patients and healthcare personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately; communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
