Pay is $18.70 per hour with daytime to late-evening shifts. You will conduct routine patrols, control access, respond to incidents, and document observations with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience or more.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property personnel by following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally with escalation as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe building activity, reporting suspicious conditions and policy violations to site contacts.
• Prepare clear and accurate patrol and incident reports while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe building activity, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observations while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
