Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Perimeter Integrity in New York, NY to protect clients across commercial real estate and other sites. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver professional customer service.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, logging activity, and responding calmly to incidents per site procedures and safety rules.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Daytime: Mon 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM, Wed 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM, Thur 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM, Fri 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
