Job summary

Harvard Protection Services is seeking Security Officers in New York, NY to provide professional security and life safety services in a client-focused environment. Officers greet and assist people, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role requires a HS diploma (or GED) and a valid security license or the ability to obtain one. Excellent communication and professional appearance are essential in delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one.
• Strong interpersonal communication and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor and assist customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Patrol assigned facility on foot or in vehicle and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe activity, report incidents, and follow emergency procedures.
• Prepare clear reports of accidents, incidents and suspicious activities.
