Allied Universal in Memphis, TN is seeking a Security Officer Loss Prevention Patrol to safeguard facilities and deter incidents. You will monitor the site, perform routine patrols, verify access, and provide high-quality customer service during day-time shifts.

This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to site procedures. The position requires a high school diploma, background check, and eligibility for a drug screen.

Formación

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, and assist with enforcing site rules related to visitor management, vehicle traffic, and restricted areas.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Loss Prevention Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service.
