Job summary

Allied Universal in Memphis, TN is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Risk Prevention Patrol. You will monitor and safeguard client sites as an Unarmed Patrol Officer, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and deliver professional customer service.

Responsibilities include routine patrols, incident response, and adherence to site policies. The schedule is a rotating daytime shift with pay at $16.00 per hour, with opportunities for growth and benefits as part of a nationwide

Qualifications

• 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider applicants with criminal histories where allowed by law.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Risk Prevention Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at an oilseed production location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report security-related concerns, support access procedures, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
