Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Mobile Route Patrol in Memphis, TN. You will perform unarmed patrols, provide customer service, manage access control, and respond to incidents at a technology-focused site.

• Complete incident reports and patrol logs, communicating observations to the appropriate personnel.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Route Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while communicating observations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
