• Respond to incidents and alarms using established emergency procedures.
• Monitor entry areas and security systems, report unusual activity and deter unauthorized entry.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Front Desk Operations in Quakertown, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License

  • AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123):Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with local regulations.
  • Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124):Candidates must hold a valid driver's license specific to the state in which they will be employed.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202):Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with alarm panel systems and their operation.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks and communication.

• CPR Certification (B205):Candidates must possess a current CPR certification, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):Candidates should have a background in customer service, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries effectively.

• Loss Prevention (B210):Candidates must have experience or training in loss prevention strategies and practices.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site‑specific procedures and front‑desk access protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor visitor, contractor, and delivery check‑in activities; verify identification and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site policies.
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and communicate clearly with visitors and site contacts in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor entry areas and security‑related systems as assigned, report unusual activity or access concerns, and help to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
