Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Reception Support in Quakertown, PA. • Background check and drug screening per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
• Staff the front desk, greet visitors, verify identifications, issue credentials, and guide guests.
• Monitor facility access, maintain logs, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Answer calls and assist with inquiries, keeping accurate visitor and incident records.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate contacts or emergency responders.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Reception Support in Quakertown, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License:
  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
  • Candidates must also hold a valid driver's license specific to the job state (C124).
• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
  • Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202):
  • Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with alarm panel operations and monitoring.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  • Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks and communication.
• CPR Certification (B205):
  • Candidates must possess a current CPR certification, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.
• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  • Candidates should have a background in customer service, showcasing their ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues.
• Loss Prevention (B210):
  • Candidates must have experience or training in loss prevention strategies and practices.

Job Schedule

• Wed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Staff the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility by maintaining visitor and delivery logs, communicating with receiving personnel, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Answer incoming calls and assist with routine inquiries, while maintaining accurate records of visitors, incidents, and other security-related activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
