• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, escalating information to site contacts or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, warehouse operations, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Document observations and access-control activities and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Oversight in Easton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and assist with directing authorized individuals and vehicles to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, warehouse operations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify security‑related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and access‑control activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
