This role offers fixed shifts with the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, allowing you to increase earnings by picking up additional shifts across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes, maintain access-related records.
• Control access for vehicles, trailers, and personnel entering or leaving the facility per established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and with problem-solving, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular/random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Logistics Facility in Commerce City, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access for vehicles, trailers, and personnel entering or leaving the facility in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
