As a Security Guard Logistics Facilityin Denver, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.96 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and delivery partners by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.


• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct approved individuals to designated areas.


• Control access for delivery vehicles and drivers in accordance with site procedures, documenting arrivals, departures, and irregular activity as required.


• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
