Job summary

Allied Universal in Kansas City, KS, is seeking a Front Desk Security Officer to greet visitors, verify ID, and control access at a professional site. You will provide exceptional service while upholding security procedures and responding to incidents with calm professionalism.

As a full‑time role with a $20.00/hour pay rate, you will support a safe, welcoming environment, handling visitor records, calls, and access management in a dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a front desk location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Welcome guests, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and/or other assigned systems; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following emergency response protocols when appropriate.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and communicate professionally with building personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:
