Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor and driver entry, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report security-related observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision in a timely manner.

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Desk in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming experience for employees, visitors, and drivers. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
