Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Level III Armed Patrol Driver in Temple, TX. You will drive and patrol designated retail and other locations, maintaining a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service.

A valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification are required. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly pay of $19.50 and a schedule that includes daytime and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required prior to employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other events calmly and professionally, following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols by vehicle and on foot to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity involving deliveries, vendors, and personnel according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and promptly communicate incidents and observations to appropriate personnel.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Level III Armed Patrol Driver in Temple, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and employees. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and represent Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and observe activity involving deliveries, vendors, and personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.


• Prepare accurate reports and promptly communicate incidents, observations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.


• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
