Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Patrol Response Driver in Temple, TX. You will perform armed patrols, provide excellent customer service, and respond to incidents with professionalism, maintaining a visible security presence at retail locations.

The role requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work night shifts on a full-time basis. Training, teamwork, and compliance with all safety standards are part of everyday duties.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and customer service to clients, employees, and visitors per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and medical or alarm-related calls calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of retail areas, entrances, loading zones, parking lots, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions; report concerns per site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations to leadership and site management.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response Driver in Temple, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and medical or alarm-related calls in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, employee, and delivery activity for unusual conditions; report concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, activities, and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
