Allied Universal in Weslaco, TX is seeking a Security Officer Level III Armed Patrol Driver to protect clients across retail and other sites. You will perform routine armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

A valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification are required, along with being at least 21 years old and having a high school diploma or equivalent. Full-time role with shift-based schedule and competitive benefits.

As a Security Officer Level III Armed Patrol Driver in Weslaco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, exterior, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security‑related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
