Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Documentation in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to staff, visitors, and patients while responding to routine security-related needs. • Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related pharmaceutical manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor and contractor entry processes.


• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.


• CPR certification is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
