Job summary

Allied Universal in Indianapolis is seeking a Security Officer – Security Clearance Patrol Driver. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and an active DoD Secret Clearance to protect clients in Aero/Defense facilities.

You will perform routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver strong customer service in a high‑demand environment. Work shifts include nights and weekends as part of a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required prior to employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required for certain positions.

Job Description

As a Security Officer – Security Clearance Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol aerospace and defense locations to help create a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor and report on conditions throughout the location, maintaining awareness of surroundings.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel as needed regarding incidents, maintenance needs, and/or other concerns.
• Document observations and activities according to site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
