Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Indianapolis, IN. You will monitor and protect a financial institution, maintain a visible presence, and deliver courteous service to employees and visitors.

This full-time role involves patrolling, controlling access, responding to incidents, and documenting activities per site procedures. The position pays $17.51/hour and offers training opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• One or more years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, will be subject to a background check.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activity according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or maintenance concerns to site leadership.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
