Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communication equipment; report irregularities, unauthorized access attempts, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, docks, parking areas, the business interior, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
