Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Incident Prevention Patrol in Houston, TX. You will monitor and safeguard clients across real estate sites, deter incidents with a visible presence, and provide professional service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation conducted as a condition of employment in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal may consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate location by following site procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unauthorized access and security-related issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate patrol and incident reports and communicate information to supervision and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unauthorized access, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
