Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive location by carrying out security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and control entry/exit per site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate contacts or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Prepare incident reports and shift activity documentation according to site procedures.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing or corporate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, access records, and shift activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
