• Worker Type: PRN

Job Summary

Provides a safe and secure environment by offering security services for staff, patients, visitors, and premises, and acts as a first responder to urgent facility matters.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interior and exterior rounds to observe safety, security issues, theft, and monitor parking lots.
• Ensure visitor and employee safety through door checks, lighting assessments, elevator operation checks, assisting with disruptive individuals, patient restraints, and escorts.
• Respond to emergency requests, including escorting emergency personnel and providing post-mortem services.
• Deliver professional customer service, communicate safety hazards, and report incidents.
• Assist with property maintenance, alarm testing, safety equipment checks, and access control.
• Enforce organizational policies and procedures.
• Monitor and review incidents using video systems and investigate as needed.
• Operate patrol vehicles if required.
• Maintain constant alertness and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
• Successful completion of psychological assessment after conditional employment offer
• Physical ability to perform required tasks, including lifting, standing, and driving
• Valid driver’s license and appropriate professional licenses or certifications as required by state
