You will monitor access, manage visitor interactions, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with campus partners. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Tue 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Wed 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Thur 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Fri 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate campus offices or destinations.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, issue temporary access credentials as authorized, and support communication between the front desk and campus personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
