Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Hospital Restraint Support Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX. You will protect patients, visitors, and staff within a healthcare setting and respond to emergencies with a calm, professional approach.

The position offers flexible day and night shifts, including weekends, with a path for additional shifts via our Claim a Shift platform. A minimum of one year of security experience and the ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and report concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.lal
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
