Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time at our Corpus Christi, TX site. You will provide security support, patrol the facility, and assist with access control while maintaining high customer service standards.

This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts, delivering flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow into a full-time schedule. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures and emergency response when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to identify hazards.
• Monitor access, verify visitor authorization, and maintain professional interactions with staff and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities and observations in required reports and communicate with leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Property Protection in Corpus Christi, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

DayTimeWed07:15 AM - 06:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain professional interactions with employees, customers, vendors, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
