Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Hospital Response Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX. You will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare settings and beyond, building a schedule that fits your life via the Claim a Shift platform.

You’ll monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, assist with access control, and deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and people-first service. Part-time, $16.45/hour.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed by site procedures, and providing directions to patients and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

As a Hospital Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, respond professionally to evolving situations, and communicate clearly while upholding our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
