Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Memphis, TN. You will patrol hospital facilities, deter incidents, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with security-related needs while upholding the company values.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents and emergencies, monitoring access points, and documenting observations for leadership. This role requires staying visible and providing excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns, assist with hospital operations including sensitive areas, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient-care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control procedures, and directions to support an orderly environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be vaccinated to work in a hospital environment.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
