Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time Morgue Patrol at a hospital location in Thornton, CO. You will provide a visible security presence, assist patients and staff, and respond to security-related situations in a healthcare setting.

The role requires 1 year of security experience, hospital vaccination compliance, and the ability to work around morgue areas. Daily, night, and weekend shifts are included in a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location.

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Morgue Patrol in Thornton, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related situations, including assisting with restraint incidents and morgue-area access. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, access concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, and documentation of incidents and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
