Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Guard (Unarmed Patrol Driver CPR) in Leesburg, VA. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to emergencies while supporting patients, visitors and staff in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required or per policy.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies calmly and professionally following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate information to leadership or responders.

Job Schedule:

• Fri 09:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 09:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and medical-related emergencies in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
