Allied Universal in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol to provide reliable, customer-focused security services at a designated site. You will perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

This role offers a fixed shift anchor with six-month commitment and the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, maximizing earnings and experience across sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete required documentation and daily activity logs accurately.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Santa Rosa, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, hospital policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete required documentation, incident reports, and daily activity logs accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
