Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Hospital Enhanced) for a part-time role in Chattanooga, TN. The position offers flexible hours with a fixed anchor shift and the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay is $17.00 per hour. The role supports patients, visitors, and staff and requires vigilant security procedures, incident response, and access control at a healthcare site.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in and around a morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding property to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with access control and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Hospital Enhanced Part Time in Chattanooga, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
