Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in and around a morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Armed roles require 21+; unarmed roles require 18+.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per law.
• As a condition of employment, a drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities and surrounding property.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and assist with access control.
• Document incidents and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding property to help identify and report security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures, assisting with access control and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and security‑related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least one year of security‑related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in and around a morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
