• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate information to leadership.

As a Security Officer Hospital Securityin Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as required, directing visitors, and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
