• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at government healthcare locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, maintaining professional communication with healthcare personnel, visitors, and public agency representatives.

What You'll Do:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
