Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time morning shift at a hospital in Escondido, CA. You will patrol facilities, monitor entrances, assist with access control, and deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting.

You will respond to incidents, coordinate with site personnel, and document activities in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Security Officer Full Time Hospital Morning Hospital in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
