Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Hospital Access in Aiken, SC. You will monitor hospital areas, deter incidents, assist with access control, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

This full-time role requires hospital vaccination, morgue comfort, and experience in security or law enforcement. Shift pattern includes day and night rotations; a background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
• 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervision/management experience, or 3 years of security experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks as required by law.
• Drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems involving patients, visitors, staff, and operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Document incidents and communicate information to the appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Hospital Access in Aiken, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol hospital areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, support access control activities, and assist with morgue‑related procedures. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including requests for assistance involving patients, visitors, staff, and facility operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and potential security‑related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site‑specific procedures and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
• Must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security‑related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security‑related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
