Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with professionalism. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entry points, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies while helping maintain a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to site leadership and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
