Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Routine Patrol in Savannah, GA. In this unarmed role at a healthcare location, you will monitor and protect patients, visitors, and staff while delivering outstanding service.

You will patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, document observations, and uphold site policies. The schedule includes overnight shifts; pay rate is $20.01 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State/ local security license preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).
• Ability to lift >20 pounds preferred.
• Valid driver's license only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned hospital areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and completely in accordance with site-specific requirements.

• Thur – 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri – 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat – 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
