Job Description
Allied Universal is hiring Healthcare Security Officers for full-time roles, working Saturday through Wednesday, 4pm-12am. Must be 21 years or older with at least 2 years security experience. Pay is $17.60 per hour, with weekly pay and a 'Work Today, Get Paid Today' option. As a Hospital Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard a high-profile healthcare customer, monitoring premises, protecting staff, members, and visitors. Responsibilities include surveillance, incident reporting, customer service, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Observe for signs of crime, disorder, hazards, and unusual activity
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check conditions and security violations
• De-escalate situations verbally and physically as needed
• Inspect security devices and fire equipment
• Screen members, visitors, and employees for admittance
• Respond to emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, bomb threats, etc.
• Provide patient escort, safety escort, and assist with deceased transport as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in customer service, troubleshooting, or managing stressful situations
• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma/equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience
• Background check and drug screening as per law
• State/local licensing requirements, if applicable
• Valid driver’s license for driving roles
• Post-offer training and certification in Management of Aggressive Behavior
