( 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM )

Marksman Security Officers, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.


Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:


  • Patrolling of the site, parking lot, office trailers, both floors of a 40 MW building,and fence line using a buggy or foot patrol.
  • Scanning workers on and off the site using hand held badge readers.
  • Securing site to preventing theft and damage to property.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
  • Must be comfortable standing, walking consistently.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:


  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Drivers License, where applicable.
  • Demonstrated professional presence, displaying the ability to work with and communicate with stakeholders and customers at all levels.
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with the use of technology, especially computer applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions under pressure and in absence of leadership.
  • Ability and willingness to learn.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background and fingerprint investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Education Requirements: High school diploma; GED equivalent


Related Work Preferred: At least 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience
