Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver) for a healthcare office building in Brentwood, TN. You will patrol, deter incidents, assist patients and staff, and respond to security-related concerns following site protocols.

Position type is Part Time with pay rate of $17.51 per hour. Schedule includes Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM and Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM. A valid driver’s license is required, and applicants must be 18+ for unarmed roles.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience required.
• Valid driver's license required in the job's state.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors per security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, assist with directions, and report unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and patrol activities as required.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience are required.
• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience are required.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
