Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patients, visitors, staff, or facility operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter points, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions and following escalation procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations accurately in accordance with site-specific policies.

Pay Rate: $15.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including situations involving patients, visitors, staff, or facility operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions and following established escalation procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations accurately in accordance with site‑specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
