You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and badge procedures, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, and facility perimeters, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and follow-up needs to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
