Job summary

BetMGM LLC in the United States is seeking a Security Officer to deter, intervene, and respond to security and life-safety incidents across the property. The role requires training and physical conditioning, with corporate policies guiding all duties and a broad scope of high-visibility responsibilities.

Responsibilities include patrols, patron verification at sportsbook, surveillance monitoring, guest service, first aid, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Valid Driver License.
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
• Ability to gain and maintain a Gaming License through regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor all areas of the property, including the exterior.
• I.D. all incoming patrons entering sportsbook.
• Monitor alarm system and surveillance cameras.
• Provide excellent guest service to guests and employees and resolve complaints and issues.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
• Perform gaming drops/transactions, including carrying drop boxes and chip carriers.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Act as a dispatcher to relay information to appropriate personnel.
• Render first aid to injured persons and follow established reporting protocols.
• Assist in emergency situations by securing the scene and coordinating evacuations.
• Maintain proficiency in equipment use.
