The role requires a strong security mindset, 2+ years in related fields, and an active clearance. Full-time hours, $30.62 per hour, with a schedule spanning most weekdays and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections and/or military experience.
• Armed Guard card is required.
• Active secret clearance is required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply locally.

• Tue: 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Fri: 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Sat: 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Sun: 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors, and maintaining required entry and exit records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify unusual conditions.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and site representatives while supporting a controlled and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections and/or military experience
• Armed Guard card is required.
• Must have an active secret clearance.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
